New powers granted to dental therapists and hygienists, government announces
Announced yesterday (28 March), this move will streamline processes within dental practices. It will also improve patient experiences and relieve NHS dental access issues, the government has said.
This comes after two government consultations were held on its proposal – the government said the feedback from the consultations was ‘overwhelmingly positive’.
