The International Symposium on Dental Hygiene (ISDH) 2024 kicks off today in Seoul with a plenary session by Dr JoAnn Gurenlian, the director of education, research and advocacy for the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Dr Gurenlian’s presentation promises to shed light upon the repositioning of the dental industry within a society that increasingly demands a critical understanding of socio-economic inequality and cultural diversity.
