CHARLOTTE, N.C., US: Dentsply Sirona and Siemens Healthineers have announced that their dental MRI system, MAGNETOM Free.Max Dental Edition, has received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, and they shared key findings from a clinical trial conducted to validate the system. In addition to confirming its potential across multiple dental specialties, the trial underscored the system’s specialised features designed to meet the unique needs of dental imaging. Among these features is a field of view specific to dento-maxillofacial structures, allowing for accurate imaging of dental structures without visualising brain tissue.
